Genesis 6:1-4 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
There are many theories on who the sons of God were in Genesis 6. There shouldn’t be, they were angels.
There is the Sethite theory, and the king theory. I will debunk both.
First and foremost, the theory that the sons of God were the sons of Seth puts strain on the plain reading of the text. It doesn’t say sons of Seth, it says sons of God.
Furthermore, Seth was a man, men have human wives everyday and they do not produce giant offspring. Something about these sons of God made giant children.
Also, why would it grieve God if the sons of Seth took wives? God said be fruitful and multiply.
In addition, the sons of Seth were men, why is there a distinction between the daughters of men, and the sons of God?
The king theory says the sons of God were rulers or kings. This makes absolutely no sense, and has no Scriptural basis.
Who were the sons of God? Well, they cant be human beings because they existed before creation.
In Job chapter 38 we read of God talking about when He created the world, the sons of God were there with Him. (Note, these sons of God are created beings, and in no way on the same level with Jesus who is the begotten Son of God who is eternal and God Himself.)
Job 38 four through seven:
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
The sons of God are present at creation. This means they are not human.
In the book of Jude, we read about angels who left heaven.
Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Where did these angels go?
It is clear from Genesis 6 that the sons of God (angels) came down to earth to marry human women.
One objection to this is that Jesus said angels do not marry.
Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Notice how Jesus says IN HEAVEN.
Why don’t they marry in heaven? Because there is nothing to marry.
Hence, they had to come down from heaven and marry.
Another objection to this is that angels are sexless.
That is not true. First of all, some angels have male names. Michael and Gabrielle for instance, and of course, when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, He sent two angels who were disguised as men. (Genesis 18-19)
This makes perfect sense with the fact that the children created by these sons of God were giants. Angels mixing with human DNA is bound to make seriously unnatural offspring.
I believe this was the main reason for the flood, in addition to the fact that men were violent.
Genesis chapter 6 says something unsettling about the giants.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that
The giants return after the flood.
Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
These giants were so tall, that the Hebrew spies looked like grasshoppers compared to them. There is clearly something unnatural about these giants.
Deuteronomy 2:10-11
The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;
Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims.
Deuteronomy 2:20-21
That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the Lord destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:
We see here that the giants go by many names. It is interesting because almost every ancient society had legends of giants. Where did they come from?
Also, the LORD destroyed the giants there. That means He does not approve of these beings. They are not natural.
Jesus said, that in the end times, it will be as the days of Noah.
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
This cant be referring to a global flood because God promised He would never send one again. (Genesis 9:15)
This must be referring to something else.
In Hollywood, we see the satanic agenda to prepare people for the return of the nephilim.
Movies like city of angels and legion, all revolve around angels falling in love with women.
In addition, we have the nephilim agenda disguised with movies about “vampires” falling in love with human women. (Twilight, etc.)
These are all attempts to prepare people for the return of these things.
That’s why I try not to watch any movies.
